How the space tier works off-planet storage

Encrypted before upload

Data is sealed end-to-end on the ground before it is sent. The orbital uplink carries only ciphertext. The satellite stores data; it does not hold keys.

02 · jurisdiction

No terrestrial facility

Data stored in orbit is not held in a terrestrial facility that an authority can search. Data residency becomes a physical fact rather than a legal question.

03 · continuity

Same keys, same account

The upgrade is a switch, not a migration. Your existing keys, access rules and recovery phrase carry over. Nothing is re-issued.
