Common questions.

How do I install SpaceBox Lite?
SpaceBox Lite is a free app for iOS and Android. Open the Get Lite page and follow the store link for your device, then open the app and create your free SpaceBox. No card and no email are needed to start.
I invited someone but a drop isn't arriving. What should I check?
Make sure both devices are online and on the latest version of the app, and that the sender used the current invite or QR code (invites can expire or be revoked). On the free tier a SpaceBox accepts one sender and up to three files totalling 1 MB; if you have reached that limit, claim a free voucher for more or remove earlier files.
A file will not download or open.
Check that your device has enough free storage and that you are on the latest version of the app, then try the download again. If it still fails, email support@i46.cz with the file name, size and your app version.
I have a new phone or lost my device. Can I recover my vault?
In SpaceBox Lite your private key is generated on your device and stored in its secure storage; it never reaches our servers, so we cannot recover a vault for you. Keep your device and its backups safe. The full release (SpaceBox Ground) adds a 24-word recovery phrase so you can restore on any device.
How do I get more storage?
Claim a free voucher at beta.i46.space for an additional 100 MB and 100 files (an email address is required to prevent abuse, subject to availability). Additional storage can also be purchased. See Pricing.
The app says it is not available in my region.
During the beta, SpaceBox Lite is not offered to residents of the EU and EEA. If you are in the EU, please wait for the upcoming launch of the full service. See our Terms for details.
How do I delete my data or my account?
You can delete drops in the app. To remove your account and the stored ciphertext we hold, email support@i46.cz from the address associated with your voucher, or legal@i46.cz for a formal data request. We only ever store ciphertext, so deletion removes the encrypted data we hold.
How do I report a bug or a security issue?
Email support@i46.cz with “BUG” or “SECURITY” in the subject line. Please include your app version, your device and OS, and steps to reproduce. For security reports, never include any private keys.
